Pizzeria La Lanterna - CASTEL DI SANGRO

This place may be a little difficult to find, it is off an alleyway, but it is DEFINITELY worth asking again and again (if you have to) for directions. I had the fettuccini with mushrooms and sausage- , I do not remember the exact name on the menu, but it is delicious, and it is a big portion! My server asked me if I was sure I didn’t want anything else from the menu, but thankfully, having been there previously, I remembered how generous the portions were and didn’t make the mistake of ordering a a salad to go with it. One of the chefs that work there is on Instagram and some of his dishes are shown on his page that aren’t shown here. Delicious food at an affordable price!!! Go early to avoid the crowds. If you don’t, service may be slow.

Clean, friendly environment. Tucked in alley off of main street. Excellent service and good pizza. We did not have other traditional dishes, but a salad was also good size, with multiple ingredients. Also choice of whole wheat flour.

Very nice food, typical restaurant where you will enjoy a variety of tasty cold cuts and warm starters. The pizza is very nice. I recommend it!

La posizione è bellissima, nel centro di Castel di Sangro, non è direttamente sulla strada principale ed è quindi tranquilla. Abbiamo ordinato le pizze, che erano buone e originali, preparate con ingredienti eccellenti. Il servizio è stato rapido e cortese. L'atmosfera era familiare ma professionale. Torneremo sicuramente se dovessimo provare i primi piatti.

Le ultime recensioni non sembrano essere sincere, considerando l'eccellente trattamento ricevuto stasera da tutto il personale: molto gentile e disponibile, ottima cena (tagliere e pizza) e prezzo assolutamente giusto. Sicuramente possono esserci serate complicate a causa dell'affluenza, ma è evidente che tutti qui fanno del loro meglio per soddisfare i clienti e per questo meritano tutte le mie lodi! Continuate così!
