Gianni - CASALGRANDE

We stopped Gianni's this afternoon for lunch. We have been before and enjoyed the food and the great service. Although it was hot today, I ordered my version of Italian comfort food Cappalletti in Brodo. Excellent, as usual. The second plate was a tagliata di manzo. What wine?? A rose' was ordered and we got a wonderful selection from Abruzzo. Great choice! When we were done, I decided I was too full for a dolce. My friend persisted.... try the Semi Freddo. OK, I ordered it. Oh was I surprised. It was a mazing. Delivered at the same time were glasses of MACULAN 2012 Torcolato. I tentatively tasted it (I'm not a big fan of sweet dessert wines. This one was extraordinarily good! A big surprise to me. After all was said and done, the food was great, the service outstanding and the meal a great value!!

Good food, cheap wine, high food prices. We also put our names down for a table and were told 20-25 ,minutes. We sat down 10 feet from the hostess stand. 45 minutes later we go to check how much longer and see our names scratched off the list and 5 more parties (larger and arrived after us)have been seated...

Great food and very friendly staff. Pizza is excellent. The best gluten free pizza I have had. The restaurant is also very child friendly and reasonably priced. Only 15 mins drive from Maranello and we'll worth a visit. However check opening times as they are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Excellent restaurant on the hills above casalgrande, I returned after several years and I found the same impeccable service the excellent products cooked with care. we have supper based on fish every single dish was of our liking. recommended recommended
