The maid who served us was very kind and accommodating. On Saturday evening there is a fixed price menu (19 euro, water and wine included), wide choice between 5/6 first and 4/5 seconds; The dessert is an extra (at 4 euro). We were six and each took different courses; everything was our satisfaction. Actually recommended, especially on Saturday night where we enjoyed a room almost entirely for us. The restaurant works mainly during the week with truckers and passing workers.
I've been there for lunch to review and chat with a dear friend of mine who recently works nearby. The place inside is much bigger than it might seem from the street. He was mostly frequented by artisans, some clerk on lunch break and many truckers passing through (very good clue). Friendly and fast service. The menu included for 11 euros a first, a second, a contour, a drink (including also half a liter of Moretti beer, which I took), each chosen on a list of three alternatives. In my case I took noodles to the sauce of sausage and peppers, cotoletta (with bone), trifolate artichokes (very alaceous, but good). Traditional Italian cuisine, simple and good, right portions, I don’t know with that figure what else I could have asked for more. We then finished with a coffee (other than 50 cents), spending at the end 23 euros in two. We were very well. Easy for those who like me love simple places, tractor style of once. Very high quality/price ratio. I'll be back.

Personally, I consumed the following dishes and was not disappointed: Casoncelli at Bergamasca; Risotto alla Milanese; Cotoletta alla Milanese (of veal and bone); Fried potatoes; Profiteroles. The dishes are very tasty and certainly not “light” but are well balanced and the basic ingredients used in the best possible way. The food is very fresh and the portions are abundant. So, if you are vegans or greetings don't go to Trattoria The Castle, because from them you really “eat” and not pretend! The wine “of the house” (or bulky), white or red, is good. In case you want to, instead, climb level, then I suggest you buy a bottle any from their wine list, because you will certainly not miss the choice. At the Trattoria Il Castello il Menù at a fixed price costs 12,50 Euro and includes: first second contour 1⁄2 water 1⁄2 wine (yes half liter ... I really like the thing). If you want, you can replace the contour with the dessert. In the evening, you will find the same fixed price menu, with a cost of only 18.50 Euro. The quantity and quality of food is the same. They also offer “pizza” menus from 10 Euros. Don't worry about pizza is more than acceptable. It is not that Neapolitan (also because we are in Brianza), but it is, without doubt, very good. Trattoria very frequented by truckers (very wide parking) and workers passing on the provincial, atmosphere very convivial and familiar, at noon is always full, in the evening the meal costs 4 euros more. The price includes water, wine and coffee, and for eleven euros it is difficult to ask for more. Among the first mention I would mention the cutlets with nuts, troccoli alla scoglio, the gnocchi alla sorrentina (served in a pretty cocottina), among the second the stuffed cup, the mixed fried, the coast of beef. Among the outlines are trifolate artichokes, sweet crabs, rosemary chickpeas. Pleasant portions, fresh food. It is not attended by business customers, moreover the crowding of the noon makes impossible any business meeting, in the evening the local is more quiet and less crowded and you can sit at the table with greater discretion. The food is cooked and served with simplicity, although in the evening the service is more cared for. A very simple list of wines, a sweet paper that is sufficiently varied, with a pleasant flambata Catalan cream to be mentioned together with the excellent meringue.
