Milano 37 - GORGONZOLA

Lunch with a colleague. Nice place, so modern. Not too much formal. Gentle staff. Good quality food and nice presentation of dishes. Recommended.

Just 25 kilometers from the center of Milan, this suburban restaurant on the ground floor of a mid rise office building is surprisingly charming. There are a lot of parking spaces,, most likely full-between office workers, a next door hotel and the restaurant clientele. The space itself is a bit austere, plenty of glass, bare walls, or the simple outdoor furniture on the deck. It is the kitchen that brings people here, and perhaps the pleasant if a bit laid back wait staff. We had a three course bistro lunch at a very modest price for the quality. On a moderately extensive wine list, we found a lovely Sicilian Rose ' at 28 euros. But, again, it is the quality and attractiveness of the dishes that is memorable; a splendid grilled calamari in a pureed fennel sauce, lovely house made tortellini in a truffle/mushroom sauce, and a silky semifreddo with fresh fruit of the forest on top. Bravo!

Very friendly staff and a great steak in my photo is a Rib steak medium rare It was great I eat here 6 to 7 times a year and always have the steaks never disappoint

Sicuramente il ristorante dove in zona si mangia meglio. Chef giovane e preparatissimo riesce ad abbinare ingredienti per la riuscita di cibi ottimi. Anche il menù lavoro è vario e gustoso. Gestori e personale molto accoglienti. Senz'altro consigliatissimo.

Ottima cucina, dai sapori tutti da scoprire. Personale gentilissimo e attento.
