We were greeted warmly and given a table in a quiet corner so we could easily chat to each other. At no time did we feel rushed it was just a very easy going but quality night. The food was lovely French fare. French onion soup was delicious and served piping hot as it should be. One of our guests also had a truffle omelette which he said was wonderful. The steaks we had were just the right size and when I asked for medium it came out medium. All the others who ordered steaks also were exactly as ordered. The confit of duck was also a stand out according to another of our friends. We finished with superb desserts (crème brûlée). I would definitely recommend this great establishment to anyone wanting a lovely French dining experience (and I will add that this is the 3rd time I have been to Paris Go and have always had a great time and delicious food. The level of experience has not diminished over the years at all).
Went here twice in quick succession and has been here it seems for many a year. On the first visit i had as entree the Mussels in champagne suace which was just a delight. But to my disappointment they were not available the next visit (afer ordering them and then told later they were not available). For the mains if had the lamb of the day (slow cooked casserols) and on the second visit a rack of veal. Both were excellent. Service was great on first night but they seemed to be understaffed on the second. Cheeses and dessert were excellent. Give it a try.
Very Authentic French Restaurant, I had such a lovely evening, the food was excellent. Would recommend Paris Go highly. Gorgeous.
This restaurant has great French cuisine and excellent wines. It is also BYO. Tibo looked after us and was knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu. There are specials apart from the usual fare. A must to visit if you enjoy French food.
Paris Go! had a comprehensive menu, with French traditional favourites and modern options. On the modern side the goats cheese ravioli was excellent, a vegetable tart was delicious, and the fish and scallop main course dish was perfectly cooked. For traditional fare I loved my French onion soup and my husband’s steak was just right. Many dishes looked and smelt delicious, I will have to come back. The desserts looked so good we couldn’t decide, so ordered six for our table of four. The best was the fig pudding, a little bit like sticky date pudding but lighter, with a more delicate flavour. Pear tart tartin was wonderful, the pear pulled apart with a luscious scent of cinnamon, though the short pastry was unusual. I am told the lemon tart was startling in its lemoniness and is recommended. The crème brûlée was fine, the chocolate mousse and profiteroles were nothing very special. It is a full and busy restaurant with good service. It’s all about the food.
