Mondi Cafe - Carlton

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and the cafe has a very pleasant atmosphere. Great job, guys! !!

The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly.

We arrived and waited 15 minutes to be greeted and to place our order. We were rushed and couldn't take time in asking about the menu. We then waited a further 50 minutes for our meals (a house special and a bacon and eggs). No apology or explanation was offered for the delay. The food was reasonable but nothing that couldn't be prepared at home in half the time!

Mondi was great for dinner with my family. The menu is different to most of the other options on Lygon street, we couldn't recommend highly enough!

I was treated to a delicious brunch at Mondi. I chose to indulge and get the special pancakes and was not disappointed. The food was fresh, tasty and servings very generous. Mondi had a great vibe and I felt really at home there. I look forward to going back for dinner and a drink at the bar next time I'm in Lygon St.
