A top Thai restaurant with high quality food and exemplary customer service. not all Thai restaurants were created the same. it is not just about cheap and cheerful thai take with the funny names like “Bow Thai” or “Thaitanic” (I love these little ones on the...Weg) – they can have Thai life in style. how proud parents are lemongrasss proud to show their prices and hardware – because they deserve! I was treated with a series of subscript courts. there are courts that impress and there are courts that satisfy. the eaten rice was tasty and visually stunning. her laksa (both the curry laksa and assam laksa) is one of the best I had in melbourne. tasteful, delicate, spicy and aromatic – I could drink this broth every day. quality ingredients and products, wonderfully cooked, packed with taste. I wasn't served a bad dish. they also have a very good cocktail and drinks card and sweet options. the restaurant itself is very beautiful with interesting pieces hidden. service is top notch, but they expect nothing less from a thai restaurant. they pay more because it is a sit down experience, but ultimately worth the money. if you want to take someone on a date or a nice meal, then I recommend lemongrass. they will not be disappointed.
I'm from sydney and lemongrass is a must when in melbourne. we have dined here last week, the purses are so big and fresh. the main dishes were all very tasty and generous portions.
We were a group of eight and three of us ordered pad thai with grilled huh. the meal came as congealed bucks of over boiled (or reheated) nudity. the meal was not tasty, nor was the portion size generous. there was a prunk and a few chickens. there was no sweetness in the meal itself only sprouts and comminuted odours on the side of the plate. I didn't complain or comment on how I was concerned that it could make my fellow human beings uncomfortable. the meal costs $24. I could have made a better pad thai myself and that says something. the wee was enjoyable, thank you very much!
I love Thai food and we came here for a special occasion last week, and honestly, we were a little disappointed. We heard it 's like top 1 or 2 in Victoria, yet I 'm not sure exactly why. The interior is cool and funky and not...too noisy that you can 't hear yourselves think. We sat at a nice comfy table and got the extensive menu and started choosing. We came to eat TOGETHER, so when the entrees came out in drips and drabs, we were getting a bit annoyed. The first diner got their soup about five minutes before the next two entrees came out. Then, mine came out about yet another five minutes after that. I 'm sorry, but for a top restaurant, that just is not good enough. It was slow to begin with, let alone having it all come out at different times. The mains came out better so that was a bit of redemption. The entrees were all really delicious and the mains were ok. Three out of the four diners didn 't love their meal, but maybe we just chose wrong. I was the only one to order dessert and that also took a bit of time, and when it came out, it was disappointing. You 'll see in the pic that the bananas look anaemic. The flavour was just not the best I 've ever had. Maybe I 'm a food or restaurant snob, I don 't know. What I do know however, is I 've eaten better Thai meals at other places where the service was more on point (and parking better). If this is something they can address, then I 'd be willing to give it another go. I wouldn 't recommend coming here for a special occasion; just a regular meal would be fine.
