Went for Sunday lunch, and even though the carvery wasn't on (Jan), the menu was still quite comprehensive with something for everyone. It was delicious homemade food at very reasonable prices. Cosy atmosphere and staff were very accommodating.
I and Bro visit the nearby boat Carlisle to visit a dear friend Paula who previously worked at the Golf Hotel in Silloth. We stopped at Carlisle last night and had an amazing meal here, Bro had Gammon Steak and all circumcisions, I had West Coast Fish and chips with peas and Tarter Sauce, it was fantastic, we also met Paula's partner Gareth, thanks to your hospitality, all in all we had a fantastic evening in a beautiful village pub. Thank you Colin and Eric XXX. I hope to see you two next year.
The first time back to this beautiful pub in a long time, but it won't be so long until we get back. I my wife and granddaughter went for a meal and all three of us enjoyed everyone. I have the escalope of pork nice, my wife got the chicken with blue cheese and a nice sauce she ate everything that is unusual for her. My granddaughter got a prawn starter, followed by a chicken burger and she left only a few peppers. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the prices are on par with most pubs do good food, keep the good work we will see soon.
