We went in at 11.45am lunch period to find only a handful of options to choose from, however once I chose the woman was so rude and unwelcoming, no smile, no customer service what so ever. Before grilling my panini the woman serving me grabs a tissue and dry mops all of the grease and muck left from whomever had a panini last and leaves it on the side. And standing 2 ft behind clearly seeing thick grease still thick smothering the top of the grill. While waiting for my lovely greased panini The woman serving and her colleague making no interaction what so ever, made you feel very unwelcoming. Both of the ladies just stood playing on their phones in front view of all customers. I would not recommend this to anyone. Greasy, dirty, unwelcoming staff

I got takeaway baked potato from here. They gave very generous portions and it was very reasonably priced. It was very nice food for not very much money. I'd definitely go back.

I am a regular visitor to Karen's as it is a local, family business and I always get great service and friendly chat, working locally sometimes alone I am never stuck for lunch, just give them a ring, pop in my order and they will deliver! can't get a better service than that. As for the food gorgeous! all fresh and good quality ingredients at more than reasonable prices! Couldn't fault Karen's at all keep doing what you do so well!

Good food nice service all round. Value for money indeed. Best breakfast I have had In a while. Menu good choice and the homemade cakes are lovely.

I found the service is fabulous and friendly and staff standards are high with regards to hand cleaning etc. Always look forward to the specials the chicken was outstanding better than any Chinese in Carlisle area. I will be back. When in the area. Delivers every time.
