Fantastic museum for visitors of all ages! The exhibits are wonderfully organized and feature numerous interactive activities for children, such as dress-up clothes, coloring stations, hands-on experiences, and touchscreen games. Plus, the Lookout offers amazing views of Carlisle Castle!

This place is always worth a visit, particularly on a rainy day with kids! If you're a Carlisle resident, consider getting a Tullie Card for free entry. The Art Gallery frequently features new exhibitions, and both Old Tullie House and the new wing showcase fascinating history and art displays. They excel at organizing activities for children during half-term and school holidays, often free of charge. It's truly a hidden gem, and the café serves great food as well! Additionally, Tullie House is now the only venue in Carlisle where you can catch arthouse films.

I believe this museum is often overlooked by many residents, but it is definitely worth a visit. With its rotating exhibitions and lively atmosphere, it offers a lot to see and do. I strongly encourage locals to check it out—it's free for residents, so what’s holding you back?

Really good exhibitions, particularly enjoyed the Underwater exhibition, very atmospheric. The museum is worth a look, and the café does quite good food. They do quite a range of regularly changing exhibitions and shows, so it's worth signing up for their newsletter to keep up to date with what's on. Plus, you can get a get-in-free pass if you live locally! Bargain.

Only rediscovered Tullie House last year when I found out that as a local I can get in for free what a bargain! T and the whole premises is a credit to Carlisle and such a great interactive experience for the whole family. Educationally it was a great place to take my son and he loved seeing all the animals and learning about the Romans, there were even some great caves he could crawl through. The Restaurant doesnt dissapoint, its the usual but its well done. Look out for the art auctions I went to one recently and it was a great evening
