Sunrise Chinese Takeaway - Carlisle

I called ahead to order takeout, and when I arrived at the restaurant, my meal was already prepared and delicious.

I personally don't usually eat Chinese food, but the person I spoke to on the phone was excellent. He was a very friendly guy who spoke very good English, his name was Tony. The only downside is that the restaurant only accepts cash. In this day and age, it's important to have the option to pay with a card for safety reasons. Overall, it is safe to eat at this restaurant.

Been living abroad for 15 years so hadn't had a Chinese takeaway for this time. This was amazing and definitely hit the spot!

This long established take away deals in “CASH ONLY” transactions. make you wonder why.!!!! strange eh?

I called in and asked for sausage and chips with gravy 3 times only when I got back was to find we had just gravy and chips totally ripped off apart from that the chips were only half cooked never again will buy anything from here ever again if the lad who served me can't understand English he should be working behind the counter at all.
