Food Xchange - Caringbah

Fx has always been a must, we moved down to the gong and had it once again in months and was such a good one. they have changed their big folding chips I don't know what the hell they use, but it was over hard to feed it to the dog. a shame.

The food is excellent, and it's nice to find a place that offers primarily healthy options. The portion sizes are also generous for the price.

I've visited this café a few times after my gym sessions, and I must say, if I ever received a smile or a greeting from the staff, I'd buy a lottery ticket! Every time I've gone there, it feels like I'm a burden to them, and to top it off, my orders have always been messed up. Today, they left out an ingredient from my smoothie, which is something I usually grab on the go as a meal replacement, so it should be thick and satisfying. Instead, it was as thin as water! I also ordered a long black coffee, which somehow came out cold—quite an achievement considering it’s just hot water and espresso. Oh, and they forgot the honey for that, too. I know these are first-world problems, but when I've just spent $20, it stings! There are plenty of other places with great service, so this will be the last time I spend my money here!

The presentation was impressive and the taste was good, which is what really counts, right? However, the restaurant really needs to address the dirty metal fence decor behind the cushioned seats. It was covered in dust and looked like an abandoned food store. I wouldn't want dust falling into my meal! There are also some interesting options on the menu, like build-your-own salad bowls and burgers, which I plan to try next time. Let’s just hope they’ve cleaned up by then!

I really enjoy the make-your-own salad option; it's perfect for lunch or dinner on the go. I ordered the classic beef, while my friend chose the Portuguese chicken. The food arrived fairly quickly, which was fantastic. The staff members are friendly as well!
