Villa Maria - Carindale

Went here for dinner tonight - no atmosphere at all, very disappointing menu with little choice. Tiny table and harsh lighting! The meals were overpriced and very average - will not be going back.

We booked a table for 6, for last night (9th July), to find the place closed and in darkness. Looks like it is being painted. On the web site it mentioned it was closed from May 27th to the 1st July.Confirmation of the booking was received for last night, but very disappointed on arrival. We finished up going to the abnormal Hotel and had a great night.

My father booked this restaurant online,for a small family party to celebrate a birthday.We were totally ignored,service was zilch and the food non existent...because we rolled up and it was closed!Enquiry revealed restaurant had actually been closed for a few weeks for renovations but was supposedly to reopen about a week before our reservation was made.However the website did not mention being closed and the online reservation for 7 July was accepted.Indeed website was specific in stating "open today".Simple oversight? Probably but extremely thoughtless and disrespectful to customers.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Stale and overpriced food. Not a pleasant dining experience either. Management need to work a new menu.

Great service. Owner comes to check on your night. Tapas menu had a little from Mexico Argentina and wines from chile and Argentina Tacos where a little boring
