We make a beeenstock for piefaction. my favorite is the wagyu beefcheeks and triple brie. unfortunately it was not available today. the wagyu beef shank, beer, bacon cheese pie $7) had a lot of gravity and lacked beef and I could not taste the bacon or cheese. that was still a delicious cake, but I was a tad disappointed. the lamb shank rosemary pie $7) was choppy meat and had no spice. I couldn't even taste a hauch of rosemary. not great again, but a decent cake. with. brandonk

Prices have skyrocketed since they opened the coorparoo shop. Almost double the price compared to when it was just mt Gravatt shop. Alright pies just not worth the big ..

My go to pie shop. Delicious. They have a great selection of flavours and I have tried a few at the Mt Gravatt location all have been great. Today I went for a simple Wagyu Beef with 150 Lashes Pale Ale. I love the filling in these pies. Often you have a pie that is full of gelatinous gravy speckled with small bits of mince. Or you have the chunky meat pies that have oversized chunks in plain gelatinous gravy. This filling had the large chunks of smoky beef and the gravy was full of pulled meat. I have always driven past this place and have heard mixed reviews so I went to venture out to try out a pie. Asked for their most popular which was their Jack Daniel 's BBQ Pork Rib pie. The whole pie was good. Just the right crisp and wasn 't flopping everywhere or the pastry flying up your nostrils!! The meat was very tasty but lacked 'sauce '. I like my pies to be drowned in sauce but each to their own. It didn 't give me the wow factor but I am confident there is a good pie in there so will come back and try the others!!!

The shop is tucked away in an industrial district so finding it for us was by pure chance. The selection is expansive with a pie to please most pie lovers. Our selection we tried all had highlights, namely the texture and 'meatiness ' of each pie. Meaning that you could decipher nice chunks of beef in each. The pastry could have been a little crispier as the price point should be ripping out perfectly cooked pies. Overall a really nice pie and will be back if I 'm in the area.
