Lazy Monk's Cafe - Carindale

Friendly staff, great food! My family and I are regulars here. Tried most things on the menu. Stand outs include the fish cakes and pad Thai. They're vegetarian fried rice is amazing too

Sadly a terrible food experience. Ordered salt n pepper calamari which came as a bag of about 8 deep fried calamari rings like you would get from a fish n chip shop. This was meant to be a main dish. Stir fry flavourless except for chilli, very little chicken and lots of onion. Very disappointing, won't be going back.

Not great, service was a bit poor. Starter was nice, but mains were average. The menu seems confused, not much traditional Thai. Meals took a while to come out

Don't bother - quality has dropped significantly. Our pad thai was dry noodles with no sauce or chicken as ordered. Our curry contained five small pieces of chicken and a watery sauce. Photos are attached.

The food was OK. I had the snapper soup and the serving was generous for entre. The restaurant is not authentic, it looks like a cafe with a Buddha statue with loud pop hit music. The man who was working there was a bit rude. I guess it makes a good place for takeaway as the dine in experience is not great.
