I came were with a group of friends on a Sunday night. It's a gorgeous venue, the red exposed brick, the woodfire oven on show, it feels like it's good for group dinners or a cosy date night. Food was pretty good to okay. The brisket was well cooked and pulled apart with ease. The chipotle adobo ketchup was tasty AF. Pizza was cooked to order, the woodfire oven is a good investment. The standout was the truffle aioli that came with the arancini balls. The pan fried gnocchi was disappointing. There were inconsistencies with the pan frying some was just right, others overcooked/dry and the dish needed more moisture. Pancetta was crisp and the pecorino added flavour. My biggest criticism is that food presentation could be improved, especially in desserts. My ice cream sundae was particularly lacklustre (two ice cream scoops, melted white chocolate and a 'crumb') and the plate up of the brownie needs refinement (piping, jagged cutting of the brownie). Overall, the presentation doesn't quite match the gorgeous venue. This place is a much needed addition to this area. I'd come here if I wanted a fun dinner with friends on the southside and you want a decent feed.

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I would recommend to everyone. All of my friends and family think the same. Best pizzas I've had in Brisbane for a long time.
I absolutely love this place! I have tried a few of the pizzas and they have all been delicious. The service is really good- super attentive without being annoying. The atmosphere of this place is so cool and laid back, it is definitely a favourite and Im sure we will be returning many more times.
I have been in the cafe/restaurant business since 1998 and this is the first review I have ever written. I came here tonight to catch up with my best friend who was visiting from Victoria along with a few brisbane folk. None of us had been here before, but believe me we will all be back. The pizzas were absolutely amazing!!! The bases were perfect and the toppings were just as they should be. The staff were very well informed on not only the food but also the drinks and seemed very happy to be working there. Whoever owns Factory 51, you should be very proud and I wish you much success!
