Death Valley - Carindale

Got to visit here recently while on holidays in Brisbane after hearing it was a cool spot for a beer and a feed. Meeting Bruce at the front door was so cute, what a charmer! Great selection of beers, the food truck out the back delivered the goods with a great selection of tasty burgers and hot dogs, and the $1 buffalo wings didn't disappoint. Will be visiting here again if we're back in the area. Just wish it was closer to the cbd!

On our arrival we were greeted by a dog in a bow tie. He strolled around the patrons & checking everything was in order. We ordered our drinks, which we so nice. I had the cloudy young Henry cider, and went out the back to the deck. I got the haloumi plate. It was so good, sweet potato, chickpeas, haloumi and a garlic yogurt served in a pita bread bowl. The haloumi was cooked perfectly, and the portion was generous. The atmosphere was great, and music was perfect as expected. The only down side for me was the bench chairs, or more specifically my pencil skirt & the bench chairs, I won't wear a tight skirt next time I visit. But there will be a next time. The food was really lovely, even my meat eating partner loved his bacon wrapped dog & Korean chicken wings.

I have been to this bar a few times now. Every time I go, the staff are friendly and the drinks are good. There's a food truck out the back with a menu that's constantly changing, and I'm yet to have a bad meal. There are options for vegetarians too.The bar is similar, with a variety of craft beers on tap that changes from week to week. If you're not sure what to drink the staff have are very knowledgeable, just ask.

My friends and I are Friday regulars. They have a wide range of beers and very consistent American style food. The wings are a total winner!

A mate took me to this little gem and it didn't disappoint! It had a really great vibe and the food from the permanent food truck parked out the back of the bar was delicious! I'll definitely be back and bringing friends!
