Dame Carcas - Carcassonne

A nice restaurant, the setting is pleasant. We see the kitchen. wc are clean. we took the menu of the hostel at 16,50 € a delicious blue salad and then 2 with pork honey sauce. My friend leaves her with a hearty gizzard and a bucket in the oven my wife a roasted brie with small potatoes our friend with a hearty charcuterie and duck jam. We've come by chance, but we'll be back.

Reception and service a little dry. Wait for a salad. it was well served, well garnished, but on the other hand the endives were not presentable (brown in several places) value for the correct money.

This was the first place we found in the old city sat outside in the square It reminded us of Allo Allo and it was loveley place to sit outside. It gets very busy so service varies but the food is very good reasonable and tasty. as is the selection of wine and set menus

Had dinner there this week. Outside as the weather was lovely. Just next to the main square where restaurants line up the same menus all over. Only annoyance : a bit of traffic nearby. Good salds : chèvre on toast with duck smoked magret, tomato-mozarella. Main courses a bit disappointing : two lams chops (rack of lamb?) and somewhat burnt smell confit leg of duck...good potatoes! Nice ratatouille. Pleasant Corbières rosé.
