Royal Kona Coffee Center - CAPTAIN COOK

The Royal Kona Coffee Center is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Kona. The coffee is exceptional—rich and flavorful, with a diverse selection to try. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the tasting experience even further. The real standout, though, is the breathtaking lava tunnel. Walking through it feels like entering another realm, providing a captivating view of Hawaii's volcanic history. It's beautifully illuminated and well-maintained, creating an enchanting atmosphere. If you're in the area, be sure not to miss the opportunity to discover this hidden treasure!

Such a charming spot! They offered free coffee samples, and there's a delightful shop filled with merchandise. You can also find made-to-order coffee products, a coffee museum, and even a lava tunnel. There's so much to explore in this one location, and I highly recommend visiting it while in Hawaii!

Coffee was good, service was terrible. I watched an older lady with short gray hair and glasses bully my 12 year old cousin because my mother made her mad by asking for no whip cream after she ordered her drink (no the drink had not been made yet). She physically touched my cousin to make her move out of the “walkway” then let another woman in our group stand in the exact same place and said nothing.

Great place to visit. Fabulous little museum about Kona Coffee. Free tasting of their varieties. Other noice tourist stuff to buy there. Good rest room facilities and a little lava tube to walk through (it was a little unkempt on our visit which was fine for us but dark in places with uneven path. Not advisable for those with any mobility difficulties)

Parking is a challenge, especially for those needing assistance.
