Black Rock Pizza - CAPTAIN COOK

Pizza came out quickly and was so delicious I nearly fainted from delight. Cheese? Perfectly gooey. I asked for the cheese to be brown because I'm weird like that, and they complied and made it spectacular. The rest of my party enjoyed their pizzas as well, complimenting both the crust and the sauce. My picky Italian father-in-law was highly approving of this place, which is saying a lot! I will definitely be coming again. EDIT: I visited again for lunch with my brotherand my wife, and had once more the most amazing cheese pizza on the planet. Attached please find a photo of the delicious pizza. I also want to say that the staff here have been super friendly both times I visited!

The pizza was perfect in every way.... taste texture of crust, fresh flavorful red sauce, right amount of toppings, stringy, toasted delicious mozzarella cheese topping. We had a mushroom, spinach, black olive banana pepper medium pizza that was fantastic, filling meal. Service was very good and the signage inside in the restroom made me chuckle! So sad we don't have one of these where I live!

Hands down best pizza, price and atmosphere on the west side of the Island. Well worth the drive from Kona for dine and we have made the drive several times for take out! Does not disappoint! If you get lucky eat outside for a nice view. If you do sit inside there?s a lot of funny signs on the wall to read. Drink are also good here!

This place is easy to find, access, and exit. Menu prices are average for the area. The food quality is very good. The food presentation is pleasing and appetizing. The table service is quick, courteous, and knowledgeable. The view from the rear patio is hard to beat, but there's only six tables. The pizza crust is not thin or deep dish, but fluffy and in between. Three sizes of pie and dozens of combinations. Totally vegetarian or gluten free options are available.Parking: There are only six slots in front of the building. There is street side parking in front and on the side street and other, walkable, parts of town. There's no designated handicapped parking space. I didn't see a wheelchair accessible ramp or door.

This is my favorite pizza ever. And the garlic dipping butter, omg! Loved overlooking the water on the patio.
