My wife and I were in the lower town of old Quebec City during a very cold afternoon in December and wanted to find something to snack on. We came across this quaint and charming bar with a very limited menu and it worked out perfectly. Surprisingly, it was very quiet and not busy. My wife and I ordered a platter of olive tapenade, humus, and guacamole. It came with chips and pita bread. A couple of glasses of red wine and it was delightful. As I mentioned, there wasn't much of a menu but the selection of alcoholic beverages was above and beyond. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I learned one of the employees is a big hockey fan like me and we had a nice conversation about the Quebec Nordiques. The prices were very reasonable and it's a nice location to sit and chat. A nice find in the area!
Had two excellent glasses of wine including an unexpectedly great orange from Quebec. The servers were super knowledgeable and it was a great place to relax with a drink before dinner.
Nice wines reasonably priced. Didn’t eat so no comment on the food. Had a Rhône and a Chablis- both were good. Very small place- probably much nicer when you can sit outside.
There is no service. We waited 20 minutes at the front of the line to be seated before finally leaving...which I am happy to wait for a busy place but they weren't busy and locals kept seating themselves while we waited. They just cut in front of us. We eventually gave up on them and left.
