Paolino - CAPRI

I had really looked forward to this dinner. Unfortunately it was not all what it is made up to be. The atmosphere is wonderful but that is about it. The service was terrible since all waiters were so stressed due to the amount of tables. The risotto was undercooked and as if that was not it- I GOT FOOD POISONING during the night. I have called multiple times and messaged them to request a refund but they clicked my call both times. Even if the prices would have been average it would not be worth it. Just don’t go here.

Heard great things about this place and the ambience was great but a complete rip off. The prices they charge for the drinks is obnoxious. 40 euro for a Don Julio reposado that I paid 25 euro for the night before at a different, but yet very fine, restaurant. The tuna appetizer for 65 euro was good but nowhere near worth the price. By far the most expensive meal I have had in Italy and probably the lowest quality meal at the same time. Good but I have to imagine we could have had just as good a meal, if not better at other places and paid a fraction of the price. I think this restaurant needs to take a step back and figure out what it wants to be.

We have been going to Capri for 22 years. Was last in da Paulson 10 years ago as impossible to get a reservation (which was a blessing). Went for dinner on our last evening 22nd august. It was a terrible meal, steak overcooked, mean portions of lamb cutlets and awful seafood risotto no love, no care, very basic food we left straight after our main course which took 40 minutes to arrive. They only care about large tables food below par compared to all other restaurants. This place is a rip off. Seeing Paulino doing the rounds in a sparkling t shirt doing the rounds sitting with large tables is a joke. This type of place does a massive disservice to Capri. Fur coat and no knickers avoid them

Da Paulino is truly special. We loved every minute in their beautiful lemon grove. The service was friendly and attentive. The space is gorgeous! And, most importantly, the food was spectacular. We enjoyed a selection of appetizers including the grilled moz on a lemon leaf, zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, eggplant parm, and bruschetta. As my main entree, I enjoyed the caprese ravioli in lemon sauce! So refreshingly delicious. Then, we discovered the temptation room, which was a room dedicated to a large buffet of desserts to choose from and devour. I couldn 't imagine a more perfect night! (they will even call a taxi for you at the end of the night).

Prima o poi che passa qualche giorno a Capri non può non passare da Paolino.incredibilmente suggestivo, cenare sotto questi limoni favolosi, dove si respira la vera aria caprese.menù molto variegato, e con porzioni abbondanti.la stanza dei dolci da sola merita la visita.costoso, ma siamo a Capri e ci sta.consiglio di andare in taxi condiviso, e per il rientro chiamano i titolari del ristorante.vedere per credere, una serata piacevolissima e tanto tanto spazio (con doppi turni) ma pieno rispetto delle normative anti-covid
