They informed me that they were undergoing renovations and initially had to postpone the trip. When they realized the renovations would take longer than expected, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating in moving our trip to the Capitola location. Spencer led our trip, and his ability to connect with and manage the kids was truly impressive. It was a perfect way to end our school year. The food was fantastic, and everyone was very friendly. This company understands the importance of giving back to the community, and I will continue to support and promote them as much as I can.
I enjoyed the pizza. Got a free huge slice when I bought a t-shirt and had a great time.
Fantastic deal for pizza by the slice and a souvenir t-shirt.
I am delighted that Pizza My Heart now offers vegan cheese. I tried their vegan pizzas and was impressed with the options available - either choosing from their vegan vegetarian specialty pizza section on the menu, or building your own with Miyoko's vegan cheese, standard vegetarian toppings, as well as Beyond Meat and Field Roast options. The restaurant has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. When I visited, I requested vegan slices and was told they are available on Sundays, but I am unsure if they are offered on other days as well. Unfortunately, I did not visit on a Saturday night to confirm.
The founder of PMH would be shocked to see the current state of the restaurant! When it first opened in 1981, PMH was known for its take-out pizzas that you could enjoy while walking along the Esplanade towards the beach. What happened to the crispy pizza slices? Now, the pizza is soggy and limp, requiring a fork (or preferably a spoon) to eat. The "Manresa" pizza I ordered on Friday was missing tomatoes and the basil was hidden under a strange Roma Ricotta pastry bag squeeze-on topping. It seems like PMH is now focused on attracting tourists, while losing sight of the quality it once had. Please bring back the PRIMA pizza with real sliced tomatoes!
