Burntwood Tavern Belden Village

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our food arrived hot and in a timely manner. The lobster bisque was quite good, but unfortunately, the rest of the meal did not live up to that standard. The menu options were quite limited, and our dinners were among the worst any of us have experienced at a restaurant. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the crispy potatoes were burnt to a crisp, and the vegetables were cooked to the point of mush—except for the Brussels sprouts, which were oddly tough and rubbery to the point that my mother-in-law couldn’t cut them with her serrated butter knife. Beyond the poor preparation, the meals lacked flavor and were unappetizing. Having spent many years in the restaurant industry myself, I understand that food can sometimes suffer on busy nights, but the restaurant was less than 30% full. This was our first and last visit to this establishment.

Whoever is driving the black truck with bungee cords in the back and acting that way before pulling into their business will certainly receive a negative review from me. I strongly advise against coming here, and please don't recommend it to your friends or family. What a poor way to promote a business!

We visited the restaurant around 2:30, between lunch and dinner, and it was our first time there. The place was lovely and clean, and our waitress was exceptionally friendly. She offered recommendations and took the time to explain some of the menu items to us. I chose the French dip, while my son’s girlfriend ordered a burger, and my son opted for the 6 oz sirloin steak. We also shared a margarita pizza as an appetizer, which was excellent. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

Food was good. Had chicken Milanese with Yukon potatoes and spinach. Service was slow.

So..... was excited to try this place but unfortunately it didn't turn out as we had hoped. Drink menu was nice, our drinks however where not at all what we had expected. Food on the other hand was very good! Service was awful they where veryunderstaffed and by the time we saw our waitress a second time we where literally almost finished with our meals. We where comptfor our drinks which surprised me but was appreciated. I would give them another try based on the quality of the food. Hard torate this place. Might re-review after second visit...
