Every dish I have had there has been spot on, and I have had a pretty excellent cocktail or two there as well. They also exude hospitality, with everyone I have interacted with on their team being uber helpful and welcoming. If you've never been, definitely add Bender's to your list!
We went for a late lunch on our anniversary. Food was tasty and the atmosphere was nice. Be advised that they add a 3% fee for paying with credit card. For an expensive eatery this seemed petty.
The reviews don’t lie; Benders is 5-Stars. The filet and flounder were both perfect. From vino and salad to sides and service, Benders delivered. Hailey was a gracious hostess. We will be back.
Such a cool atmosphere from 1980’s. Hailey was our waitress and was very attentive and gave great suggestions. Had the flounder- all I can say is YUM! Husband had the filet- Yum.
Someone at the table ordered the $14 roasted beet salad, which consisted of three slices served on a small plate. For $14 you don't even get one whole beet. I ordered the Key West Shrimp pasta special with double steamed broccoli as my side. I was expecting nice whole shrimp possibly with the tail on. What I got was tiny little pieces of shrimp and not many. The pasta sauce dominated the dish ruining it, and the broccoli was dry, hard, and room temperature. Have you ever eaten dry steamed broccoli? It was also discolored. I returned the broccoli and was given the same thing back after being microwaved. The pasta wasn't hot and didn't look very good, telling me it was sitting in the window for a long time. $30 shrimp pasta with practically no shrimp, which tasted like bad sauce you can buy at a dollar store. My fathers wedge wasn't a wedge. It was a pile of cheap lettuce covered with flavorless blue cheese. That's it. He also received hard, dry, discolored, room temperature broccoli and was disappointed with the perch. A waste of $40. This restaurant obviously does not care about the quality of the food they serve. Absolute garbage for the price.
