Shoal Hill Tavern - Cannock

This pub is nice and clean, with great service from attentive and pleasant staff. The food, specifically the six meat roast we had, was plentiful and delicious, cooked wonderfully. Definitely worth visiting again.

Beautiful location, delicious food, extensive menu options, friendly and attentive staff. Without a doubt the top dining spot in Cannock.

It is a beautiful place at the arrival. but, overpriced and slow

I went to Shoal Hill for the first time with my mom. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up and spend time together. We had booked a table for lunch and were greeted warmly upon arrival. We ordered the fry with two types of meat and the Sunday fry with meat. However, I was disappointed when the meat arrived as it was very thin, which made me think it was pre-packaged and microwaved. I couldn't even tell what type of meat it was due to its appearance. The mashed potatoes were served in a large portion, which was a bit too much for me. They tasted fresh, but the roasted potatoes were not crispy at all and seemed to have been microwaved. In the end, we left feeling unsatisfied and decided we wouldn't be returning for Boxing Day. I prefer when my meat slices are freshly cut from a joint.

This lovely and tidy pub offers excellent service with attentive and friendly staff. The food, particularly the six meat roasts we had, was incredibly delicious and all cooked to perfection. Definitely worth going back for another visit.
