La Rotonde 2 - Cannes

The food is delicious and the service is wonderful! we went several times during our stay, so it is clear to say that we all enjoyed everything!

We are regular visitors from the usa to the neighboring to see family. we were here during the terrible curse, from the immense devastation to this area, our elders were happy, only moderate water damage at the cave. we were thrilled. that we have a nice clean restaurant that opens directly on the street! that eat authentic, delicious and fresh. the service is wonderful and we were able to have my no birthday dinner there with adult and a child! we are big fans.

A very nice little restaurant around the corner and eating is quite impressive. most important are the people from the restaurant super friendly and they are ready to explain the menu in English. highly recommended.

Took a light lunch here today. A Rotunda salad and a ham, cheese, and mushroom omelette as main courses, and a pineapple with lemon veloute dessert were all just perfect very fresh and all very tasty. Simple no fuss food located in an out-of-the-way...spot , but great service and reasonably priced. Not a place to travel miles just to visit, but if you're in the area, it provides a very worthwhile lunch time break with street parking to the North on the main road.

We found this when we were exploring the streets further back in Cannes. We stopped for a sandwich and beer there in the afternoon and were impressed by the evening menu and so returned. This restaurant offers a set of reasonably priced starters, main courses...and desserts which are displayed at your table on a black board. The service is exceptional and we were very surprised about how quiet the restaurant was maybe because of its off track location? A dozen escargots for is crazily cheap by Cannes standards. This was followed by an entrecôte steak au poivre served with chips and vegetables. We declined dessert as we were filled up. We chose a bottle of Cotes de Provence rouge which lived uo to its price tag. The waiter was keen to understand why we chose the restaurant. We explained about our afternoon stop and that we had stayed in the school up the road (Lycée Jules Ferry) years ago! Complimentary digestifs were delivered to our table. Excellent dining experience.
