The atmosphere and decor is stunning. The displays of all pralines and chocolates is never ending. Very busy, service was painfully average - very blunt and not attentive by any means. However the desserts were great, for not being much of a chocolate person I really enjoyed the chocolate. The tartlet and layer cake were also delicious. Surprisingly they weren't awfully sweet, but they were awfully rich. I liked the four pralines however would've like to choose which ones were included. Price was a little on the heavy side. Does it compete with max brenner? No, they're very different. Do I recommend both? Yes.

FOOD 4.0 SERVICE 3.0 AMBIENCE 3.5 A great cafe in the heart of the city. Lovely coffee and hot chocolate ia really nice. Great chocolates as well. One thing they could do better is provide for lactose free as well, a friend with us couldnt have any of the hot chocolate as they dont have lactose free milk, see what management can do about this. There are shops across the road that cater for above.

Service is poor. No attempt to prioritise service. No adult in charge. We waited to be seated for 10 minutes when seats were actually available. When seated, staff appeared too preoccupied with each other. Truly disappointed. Won't go back.

Headed there for a hot chocolate, it might just be me but I felt like they had melted a block of chocolate into a mug and served it, way too chocolatey for me and very thick, is expect the rest of the food is good, just don't order a hot chocolate.

While I'm generally not much for desserts, this place is amazing. The mousse is rich and dark, without being sickly - and presentation just amazing.
