Debbie's Diner - Canastota

I wanted to give this restaurant a try based on the reviews, but unfortunately it was not open during their posted hours. They claimed to be open until 10pm, but they were already closed by 7:10pm. I had hoped to support a unique, independent establishment, but now I will have to settle for a chain restaurant since I know they will be open.

This restaurant is a fun place with delicious food, especially the tasty ranch dressing. We stopped in for a quick late dinner and were impressed by the friendly and fast service.

The staff at the restaurant are fantastic and very welcoming. However, I was disappointed to witness the owner's husband enter and angrily throw his phone on the table, telling the employees that they were not worth his time. This kind of management is unacceptable in my opinion. I wouldn't want to work for someone who speaks to their staff in such a disrespectful manner.

Eat yum and run by nice people. bbq sandwich- delish. hamburger quite solid. I enjoyed all that I had from debbie.

Nice mom and pop business, great staff (always get great service with small business) had the philly cheese steak with fries. I wish we had more restaurants like this. The prices are very fare probably better than crappy fast food. This is so much better than subways
