Venice - Canajoharie

I discovered Venedig, a charming Italian eatery, hidden in the village of Canajoharie for lunch. The establishment was thoughtfully designed, evoking the imagery of the canals of Venice with its colorful walls and pictures of the city. The meal started with fresh crusty bread and roasted tomatoes in olive oil, a delicious and satisfying appetizer. The Caprese salad was anything but boring, with fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. The Porker sandwich was a standout, with crispy, juicy pork that was not like the dry pre-made cutlets found elsewhere. Venedig is a great spot for a casual meal, a birthday celebration, or a romantic date, offering a personal and memorable dining experience.

Veneious at Twenty Two is top-notch in every way. Maryann and Kris are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about everything from American to Italian cuisine, making them a wonderful addition to the Canajoharie area. The salads, sandwiches, soups, and roasted vegetables are all delicious. Their baked bread and cookies are unparalleled. Overall, Veneious at Twenty Two is consistently excellent—we have never had a meal there that was anything less than superb.
