Camperdown Commons – ‘the Yard’

We had a large group planned for outdoors, but due to the weather and outstanding customer service, we were moved indoors where it was much warmer. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The food was fantastic and generous. Highly recommend this venue for a group. The live music was an extra special touch and we thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our afternoon at The Yard.

We were the only customers in the restaurant at 3 PM on Sunday, which was surprising given that I had trouble booking a table earlier than 3. The place was empty, yet I had to wait. On a positive note, the food was delicious and served in a reasonable time, and the band was fantastic! However, not a single staff member came to check if we needed anything or if our meals were satisfactory. When we asked to order dessert at 5 PM, we were informed that the kitchen was closed. No one had mentioned this to us earlier, so we missed the opportunity to order coffee or dessert. As we left, there was no acknowledgment or thanks from the staff. It was quite disappointing; we received absolutely no attention or customer service. If this is how they treat customers when it’s quiet, I can't imagine how it would be during a busy time.

This is a fantastic spot for families, whether or not they have kids. The restaurant features a nice blend of covered and open-air seating. The pizzas are outstanding, and the live music on Sundays adds to the enjoyable atmosphere.

The food was delicious and served quickly. when the live music began, we asked to be moved from the deck to the lawn, as one of the speakers played and the personal that sorted out for us without problems.

Great venue, good food and vibe. Loved the live music. Will be back!
