Cheung's Family Restaurant

We've been coming here for years, for business lunches and dining out. The food is always hot and fresh, and always served fairly quickly after ordering. Excellent place for great food at a reasonable cost.

My family and I went to Campbellford for the weekend and found this nice restaurant. We loved the food and service there. We ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, cantonese chow mein, wonton soup, several of the stir fried vegetable dishes, honey garlic ribs and the yummy egg rolls. Each of the dishes were delicious. You can tell everything was freshly made from scratch. We went back twice over the course of the weekend. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Serving up tasty Chinese dishes with care, this family-friendly spot is sure to leave you satisfied. We popped in after a visit to the nearby Maple Syrup Festival, and it was a definite win-win situation.

I am basing my review on a takeout order which I picked up. The service in placing the order was friendly and was good. The store hours are limited in that they are open on the weekends including Thursday. The place is orderly and clean. The portions are on the light side. The food is very bland. The overall pricing is on the low side. Based on all factors I would rate Chung's as average.

I have visited Cheungs many times and frequenbtly bring guests to this restaurant.I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered off of the menu, whether Chinese or Canadian food.All is home cooked and prepared, and the service is excellent.This is a wonderful mom and pop restaurant, I wish there were more like them.
