Riverside Restaurant - FRANKFORD

We searched on Trip Advisor for restaurant recommendations in the area. We decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and we had a great chat with the very friendly owner. From the outside, it looks like nothing much, but the food is top notch. They do a lot of takeout but we enjoyed eating in. Highly recommend.

Out and about with two young grandchildren on a PD day and they were both getting “hangrey” and happened upon this restaurant in Frankfort. Not being from the area we were a little apprehensive as the outside was looking tired and the interior was anything but opulent. BUT the Food was excellent and freshly made, owner friendly and engaging and we all had a wonderful experience. Try it if you are in the locale …. You will not be disappointed.

Very poor quality food…some of it inedible. Very disappointed It came recommended but chicken was poor quality ,,,chewy and grisly , noodles were swimming in soy sauce , won ton sauce was bitter

Although the food portion is large The chicken was like trying to chew leather in the chow meain and lo meinVegetables were fresh however rice seemed as if it had been reheated from days ago. Spring rols were mini frozen ones that I buy at grocery Very disappointed would of rather had smaller portion of fresh food to leave me wanting more and a desire to return. Instead we were found with all this left over food that will end up in compost. What was that chicken? Sorry to say I am not sure where the 4.5 rating came from. Perhaps it was from a glory of the restaurant past glow.

We visit this family owned local restaurant at least a couple times a month not only to get great Chinese and Thai food, but also to help them through this difficult time with Covid. Due to the restrictions, they are only offering take-out meals. The prices are very reasonable and although the menu is somewhat limited, everything is freshly made and very good. I would highly recommend the Thai BBQ Pork Supreme as well as the Veggie Spring Rolls. I don't think you will be disappointed.
