The menu was mediocre, but the food itself was far from satisfactory. The options were unappealing and failed to impress. One of us ordered a pizza which was cold and tasteless, clearly pre-cooked and reheated. The pulled smoked brisket and chips were also underwhelming, with the brisket being cold and topped with a slice of melted cheese. The overall experience was unpleasant and the prices were high. We suggest trying the bowls club instead, as it has received positive reviews.
Fortunately, I was able to secure the last available room at the hotel on a Saturday night. The bed was comfortable, the shower was refreshing, and the restaurant was top-notch. There was also a fantastic coffee shop nearby where I could enjoy a delicious B&E roll and coffee for breakfast. What more could you ask for in a small town setting?
The experience was outstanding. The food, service, and staff were all excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our traditional country meal and will definitely be returning when we are in the area again.
Everyone is focused on the 1kg donuts down the road and the real gems are the meals at the Kenilworth Hotel. 4 of us ordered different meals and not only was the service country style, the meals were fast and every one of us thinks our meals topped each others.
Impressive hotel with good pub food that I had been waiting for. I had chips and a healthy filling salad with haloumi cheese and falafel balls. The hotel is quite popular and gets busier during meal times. I was glad to see a nice variety of vegetaruan meals. The sitting space is comfortable and the hotel has good capacity and service in my opinion. Me and my friend were pleased with it. Enjoy.
