Muffin Break - CAIRNS CITY

We stopped here for a very moist and tasty blueberry muffin on our first day in Cairns. We went back to Cairns Central shopping centre on the last day of our trip, and before we split up to do our shopping, we arranged to meet at Muffin Break - a very handy location in the centre.

Ordered a gluten free muffin, but given ordinary one, I detected a different texture so queried it and was told no it's not gluten free even after the girl serving put gf in the register. The manager just said sorry and gruffly told the girl to give me a refund. I explained it would make me very ill as i have Coeliac disease, but they just care..

The coffee here was good and the service was quick and efficient. The staff seemed nice, though a bit pre-occupied (probably rushed)

Nada de excepcional, mas um simpático lugar para se tomar um café e, obviamente, comer um muffin. Mas há uma série de outras comidinhas para serem saboreadas, como uma torrada com uva passas e algumas tortas. Enfim, tomar um lanche ou um café da manhã. Os funcionários, por outro lado, são muito agradáveis.

I called in at the busy lunch time rush the staff were polite an served me as quickly as possible. The food was yummy and a healthier option than takeaway
