We were in a hurry to dinner in cagayan de oro because of our guests back to manila when we visited seablings seafoods restaurant. we were initially hesitant to eat there because they only have a few as guests, but because the nearby ones. panagatan was full, we were left without choice. we ordered seafood dishes, including seafood hot salmon soup, ginataang garnelen, adobong bagaybay, sweet and sour lapu-lapu, calamares and seafood pinakbet. it took them about 15 minutes to serve the dishes and when I took my first attempt from each dish, I was pleasantly surprised how good they were. it actually asked me why they only have a few guests considering that their food was actually good. my favorite was the fish pinakbet, because it was well seasoned and the seafood and sweet freshly tasted. it was so good that even my friend, who doesn't eat sweet, liked it. I also liked the sweet and acidic lapu-lapu because it has a good balance of sweet and acid, and the fish was perfectly fried. the cap was also satisfying because the seafood containing fish, garnel and tinted fish were fresh and the sweet crispy was. the other dishes were good, but can still be improved. I am a fan of ginataan, but was not so impressed by the ginataang prawns. it lacked taste for me and I find the garnels overcooked. I find her adobong bagaybay too salty while the calamares for me were too hard because of the coating. with the quality of food they serve, I believe they should have more guests. mica need a great improvement on their marketing to win more customers.

The cocks were small and the grilled fish was overcooked. there were very few patrons, but there was still one last for eating to be served to us.

Food was good, service was slow...price is average, a bit pricey for the crabs given that they were small and it's a beachside restaurant.
