Przekaż informację zwrotnąDuring our stay at the Grand Place Hotel- Butuan City, we found the staff to be really helpful and the location near the malls was great. There were some good things, but also a few things that needed to be better. Let's go through what we liked and what could be improved... Positive Aspects: • Exceptional Staff: The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and respectful, promptly addressing our needs. • Convenient Location: The hotel's proximity to malls made the area convenient and enjoyable for guests. • Child-Friendly Amenities: The presence of a pool delighted our son and added to our positive experience. Aspects for Improvement: • Outdated Interior Design: While the hotel is spacious, an update to the interior design is necessary for a more modern and welcoming atmosphere, as the dim lighting initially felt unsettling. • Maintenance Issues: Several issues like non-functional room telephones, limited TV channels (not suitable for children), and malfunctioning showers need attention. Providing instructions for unfamiliar fixtures could be beneficial. • Soundproofing Concerns: The lack of soundproofing compromised our sense of privacy and comfort, as noises from neighboring rooms were quite audible. • Pre-Check of Room Facilities: It would be beneficial for the hotel to ensure all room appliances and amenities are fully operational before guest check-in. We hope these suggestions will contribute to making future stays at Grand Palace Hotel even more enjoyable for guests. Thank you God bless!
The hotel looked very cheap with antiquated designs. The pool had creepy cheap cement statues that looked very unsophisticated. The food seemed unsafe so I didn’t bother eating their food. The room I checked into was a closet. Had no windows and was stuffy. Parking was ok and their gate was creaking and malfunctioning. The security guard was extra helpful, but was only friendly so he could get a tip.
Rented two rooms for four(4) nights. This was one of the more expensive hotels in the area and photos looked decent however we noticed within minutes of checking in there were little bugs everywhere. Also spoke with another guest saying he had bugs…
I stayed here the night to wait for my flight the following day. I got a good price booking at Agoda. The room was single and it was adequate. What's not good is that they don't accommodate early check in. And their staff can't follow instructions well and don't communicate it to their colleagues in th following shift. Since I have an early flight I ordered that they give me a sandwich instead. But the personnel in the reception didn't relay this to the next shift and to the kitchen. So they just gave me a very lame and unappetizing bread with mayonnaise
My stay at this hotel was generally OK. Let's start with the entrance: The hotel's exterior was decent, although I did notice that the PWD (Persons with Disabilities) parking area somewhat obstructed the driveway. The entrance itself was well-maintained and not too cramped, with security measures in place similar to those in shopping malls. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the inviting waiting areas and the exceptionally plush couches, which I found extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Now, moving on to the buffet experience. The buffet was priced at approximately $390 during my visit, and the menu offered a variety of dishes. There were options like pork, pizza, siopao, siomai, chicken, vegetables, rice, and soup. Among these, the siopao and siomai stood out as the most appealing, as the pizza had an unusually thin crust. My personal highlight was the dessert and sushi section. The sushi primarily featured shrimp, complemented by some wasabi. There were also fresh fruits and snacks like grapes. When it came to desserts, there were three types of cakes, although they were quite similar. Additionally, there was an eclair that was decent but not exceptional, and a chocolate and strawberry sweet cream served in small glasses, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. The standout dessert was the cream puff, which I found exceptionally delicious. Moving on to the hotel's pool, I regret that I didn't get a chance to swim during my stay, as we were primarily there for relaxation rather than swimming. However, I did appreciate the comfortable reclining seats by the poolside. The hotel also offers a play area for children and convenient shower facilities. In summary, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory. While there were some minor inconveniences, such as the PWD parking area and the thin-crust pizza, the luxurious couches and the delightful dessert selection, particularly the cream puff, made up for it. The pool area, with its comfortable reclining seats, is a nice touch for relaxation. The hotel caters well to families with children, and the shower facilities are a convenient addition. Overall, a pleasant experience with a few notable highlights.
