Good food and lots of options!! My buffet style lunch plate helped me sample the following: 1. Mango tofu yellow and white 5/5 perfect texture and taste and mango was a refreshing twist on the veggie dish must try 2. Pad thai decent 3.5/5 3. Burmese chicken curry 4/5 perfect tenderness and paired well with their rice 4. Tea leaf salad amazingly flavorful 4/5 must try 5. Veggie tofu curry decent with lots of colors and veggie variety 3/5 The food wasnt very spicy (maybe coz it was catered). I assume u can choose ur spice levels when u dine at the restaurant I will definitely be returning to this restaurant for mango tofu as i found that unique and tasty
Can't say I'm particularly impressed by this ghost kitchen, despite the other reviews setting high expectations. Ordered the sesame chicken and pineapple fried rice; sesame chicken was decent but for the price, I expected more. The pineapple fried rice was just sad; even though the chunks of pineapple were relatively large, the dish just tasted of nothing, no sweetness from the pineapple, no flavor from everything else, just overall very bland.
Worst food. Just got today for work chowmill. Pineapple fried rice and garlic noodles... no one here likes it! No quality what so ever. Pineapple was old and dry. Rice was buttery and bland. Taste 3 days old. Noodles just as bad.
Ordered lunch here since I keep seeing people post about the tea leaves salad and just Burmese food so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered: Tea leaf salad: Wasn't a fan at all. Maybe it's an acquired taste? I just thought it was plain and flavorless. Burmese Pad Thai w/chicken: Husband and I both thought that it wasn't great. It's probably on the sweeter side which is weird to us. I'd just stick to my usual Thai restaurant for this dish. Burmese milk tea: Probably the worse. All I could taste was the super sweet condense milk. I ended up mixing it with 6 shots of espresso the next day to make it into a coffee milk tea and it didn't really taste right. Not sure if I would be interested in ordering from here again.
My friend came down to south bay to visit me, and she already had this place bookmarked to try. We ordered as we left the Ikea in Palo Alto, about a 20 min drive by google, and the food was ready when we arrived! This is a ghost kitchen kind of situation. There's no one to take your order and you just find your food on a table amongst others. The pick up was fast and easy as the food was already waiting for us when we arrived. We got the tea leaf salad, chicken curry, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was delicious! I don't have lots of experience with tea leaf salad, but my friend loves the dish and said it met her high expectations. My coworker brought in burmese briyani once for lunch and I've been chasing that flavor ever since. This wasn't similar, but I will get there someday! The curry had a good depth of flavor. Its well spiced and not too spicy, lol. The pineapple fried rice was really good! Not too sweet as to overwhelm the other dishes.
