Urban Press Winery - Burbank

My friends and I went out last Thursday for a girls' night and stayed for dinner. I started with the calamari as an appetizer, which was delicious. For my main course, I had the stuffed branzino which was also delicious. The service and atmosphere were exceptional.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. There were only 2 waiters for three tables, and it took about 40 minutes to even get bread, which was stale and cold. We had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes before we could order our food, and we had to track down a waiter to get our drinks. The check was also difficult to get, as we had to find a waiter who was not assigned to our table. The waiters were friendly but clearly untrained. As for the food, we ordered simple pizzas that were piled high with cheese, which made them hard to eat. The wine was decent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was confusing, with upscale decor and loud music playing in the background. Overall, I can only give this place 2 stars. I wouldn't return and will probably avoid using the nearby transportation, as I usually do. It seems like others had similar experiences, so it may not just be a one-time issue.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The happy hour specials were a good deal, and the risotto was excellent. The atmosphere was casual and the service was attentive. There was a small mistake in the kitchen, but our server quickly rectified it by taking it off our bill. The customer service was impressive. They had a large selection of wine to choose from, and we had a lovely evening enjoying good food and wine.

Wein was excellent and the atmosphere was very beautiful. if we had not waited for our lunch for half an hour, I could have given a 5-star. the waiter always said they were secured, but still the people sat after we got their food before us.

Wonderful wine bar. I was traveling to visit my daughter in Burback. We came upon this place by accident on a Sunday afternoon. There was live music, Ella Fitzgerald type. The atmosphere was great. All the customers were having agreat time. I'll definitely visit again next time I travel out.
