Kitchen On San Fernando - Burbank

Ate here several times (both in-person and take-out) during an extended stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. As hotel restaurants go, it's a fine option with quick service and pretty good dinner. For dinner choices, had the Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, and Vegan Burger, all of which were good (giving the edge to the tacos). Prices for dinner are comparable to other restaurants in the downtown Burbank area, as are portions. For dining in (versus taking up to the room), the ambiance is fine, but part of the hotel's lobby. The best tables are near the windows and afford a bit of a street view. Also had breakfast on one occasion, with less good results. Had the French Toast and sampled the Breakfast Burrito, both of which were just middling. Compared to other hotel restaurants, the breakfast felt overpriced for what it was. Service was also mixed, with a server repeatedly asking us if we were finished or using our condiments (while we were using them). On the whole, this is a fine option for dinner if you're staying at the hotel or in the area, particularly if you like fish. Breakfast could be improved.

Denise was a delight and the Rib eye was excellent perfectly cooked no sauce needed, it was paired with beautifully prepared Chipotle mashed potatoes and out of this world Brussel sprouts that were glazed with bacon bits, everything complimented each other. The best Rib eye I have had to date at one of my stays at a Hilton.

I'm surprised how good my Brussels sprouts were, I didn't even take a picture of them because I was so hungry! Nom nom nom!! My salad with shrimp is good but a little oily. I'm sitting in the lobby wolfing it down. Who would ever think the Hilton Garden Inn would have a nice little restaurant with decent food!

A nice little hotel lobby bar. Catalina whipped us up some delicious cocktails and provided cheerful conversation while the Dodger game played on the TV.
