The Grotto - Buffalo

We had the Seafood Chowder, garlic cheese Bread, manicotti and the lobster crab ravioli all of it was outstanding, and the staff are super friendly!!!!

Everything is excellent, unique, delicious soups, fabulous Italian, great specials. The manicotti is made with fresh made crepes, so light and delicious. Don't miss out, eat here.

Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing!!! They even offer a special menu with about 6 items on it, soups of the day, and amazing desserts!!! I've eaten there many of times and still am amazed by the quality of the food and service!!! I definitely recommend this hidden gem. The food is worth every penny!!! And the head chef is so sweet and greets you within 10 minutes of being inside. He truly makes you feel like you are a part of the family. The personal pizza is definitely a personal fav of mine! And those sweet potato fries are heavenly!!

Come on downtown for a spectacular lunch or a Friday night dinner. All the food is fresh and delicious. I've tried most of the pasta dishes and they always excel.Favourite dish is Chef Rich's seafood chowder, you've not had a good chowder til you've had it!The staff are friendly and attentive and the owner will always make you feel at home. Give the grotto a chance. You will have no regrets.Parking: Fridays after 4 it's free on the street. Parking ramp is across the street and only costs a few dollars. Otherwise it is metered parking during the week. But anyway you look at it the meals and atmosphere make it worth it.

The waitress forgot several items. The cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen was insane. The red sauce tasted like an ashtray and one person in our party got food poisoning! Would not recommend!
