Mariscos el Gordo - Bucerías

The service, food and view were all absolutely amazing! Some of the best food I had! I'm not a big fan of seafood, but always try when on the water. The coconut yarn was amazing and so was everything else the group ordered. The staff was so much fun and incredibly sweet! The view with a table side Cadillac margarita was for dying! Will be back when we're in the area.

Whether you know it as Mariscos el Gordo, or The Fat Boy Seafood Restaurant, you will enjoy the fine cuisine and ambience of this place. Upstairs at street level provides you with a large open area for dining, while going downstairs will put you right on the beach. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. They don't take credit cards so bring lots of pesos. My wife asked our waiter if the seafood is fresh, and he told us he just dried off and changed into his waiter clothes after catching our meal. I have no reason to doubt him. It was that good. Enjoy your meal and the great view.
