Fryemont Inn Dining Room - Bryson City

Wow! The food was absolutely delicious, and we had a wonderful dining experience. We started off in the relaxing bar, enjoying perfect martinis, and then moved on to a lovely dinner. There was no sense of being rushed, and I can't speak highly enough about the food. The lamb was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, just like the prime rib. The rest of our group had fresh trout, which was excellent! The family-style side dishes featured seasonal vegetables and homemade salad dressings, along with snacks made from cherished family recipes. Desserts were included with dinner, and the hot triple berry cobbler with ice cream was so good that it completely derailed my diet. After our meal, we explored the charming, century-old inn, which felt like an adventure as we wandered down each unique hallway. We even had the opportunity to see some of the suites. The inn has a rustic, historical vibe, with many of its features remaining unchanged, which is wonderful if you're looking to step back in time.

Large classic dining area in Bryson City. Old fashion, good kitchen. Full wine list and good selection of cocktails and spirits at the bar. Great service. Five stars.

I had an incredible time on a girls' weekend! The bartender was fantastic and added a lot of fun to our experience. The food was absolutely delicious; we each ordered different dishes and shared them. I highly recommend the prime rib and trout. They were also very accommodating regarding my food allergies, which I truly appreciated!

At first we noticed how rustic the restaurant was. It reminded us to be in the mountains and we were! So a beautiful place to take a long lunch. Secondly, you must be very hungry because the portions are large. Family style serving was a pleasure. They don't get the vegetables to pick up, but what they have served was delicious. Dessert was upstairs! Come to eat this historic restaurant!!!!

Wonderful dining experience! My husband and I made reservations to eat here and loved the food. The trout is amazing and the bread, salad, soup, and 3 sides (macaroni and cheese, lima beans and baked apples) were delicious. We each chose different desserts: I picked the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream and he picked the hot fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. We really enjoyed it and hope to eat here again next time we're visiting the area.
