The spinach and feta pie was excellent and I'm told the sausage in pastry was really good too. The kids give it 8/10 so who am I to argue? I really hope it thrives and stays open in the evening too. It's a great place to pick up something tasty as you get off the tram.
Great service and friendly staff and a chai latte to die for. With a hint of ginger and cardamom, the chai is definitely more than your normal chai. My new fav coffee place :
A lebanese bakery with a modern fit out. They're pretty generous with their toppings fillings I love their cheese pies and cheese spinach triangles. I actually think their food is much better than A1 bakery down the road, although A1 has a better atmosphere. Great prices too, although I wish they would stay open a bit later on weekends!
The place is lovely, staff are friendly, they have not a huge selection but the food is nice and fairly priced. I usually come here for the pides when I feel like one. Only thing that refrains me from giving it 5 stars is that the feta and spinach pide has a lot of some kind of uncooked danish feta in it which is totally unsuitable...too soft and creamy texture doesn't spouse well with cooked spinach. I'd suggest to review the recipe. I also tried the Halloumi and spinach pide which I found much better. Other than that it's a lovely little place.
Very tasty fresh food at great value prices. Many options for vegan, vegetarian and omnivore. I have only tried the lemon spinach pie but it was delightful. Cheese-free, fresh and full of flavour. Code is nice. So many options below $10. And the service is so helpful and friendly. One of my new favourite budget finds in Melbourne.
