I had the noodle salad with tofu and mushroom kewers and it was deeelicious! Although there are only three vegan variants, a small menu means fresh ingredients and high-quality foods. I also liked that the restaurant only uses ethical meat sources for its non-vegan options.
Super simple menu a few things made very good. The rice paper rolls are vegan and the mushroom pho. The Pho was so beautiful. Four mushrooms roast and grilled with rice noodles and fresh Vietnamese mint and sprout. The room is cozy and demanding. The bar seating is fantastic watching your food made. Very recommended. 5 stars, but HC only lets me set 4 because the place is not strict Vego.
I mean, yes, technically half the menu *is* vegan, but there are only 5 items on the menu. So you can use rice paper rolls, a vegan pho, or a Vermicelli nudelsalat to Fu. I tried the Pho a week. The broth was quite rich and tasteful and the color was also deep. I remember that the mushrooms came on the side and you add them as you eat, which meant that they kept a beautiful crispy/chard texture instead of going soggy and slender in the soup. Sprouts, lemon, fresh herbs and all your spices are of course served on the side as usual. The interior is beautiful, but I did not find the atmosphere excessively warm. I enjoyed my soup, but I'm not sure I would go back. I don't really understand why people love being honest. If the menu is so limited, I expect the interpretations of the dishes to be quite extraordinary and not. I think there are more delicious and different options on Sydney Rd.
