Taquiera El Taco Loco - Brownsville

If you don’t mind waiting over two hours for your food then this is the place for you. It’s unfortunate because the food is good. However waiting over 2 hours for a couple tacos is insane and the reason I will not be returning to this establishment. Every customer that was in the restaurant was complaining they had been waiting over an hour for their food.

Like their tacos, tostadas and beans. Customers coming back. More family groups.

Called in order and female on the phone wanted payment but I told her I will pay when I go pick up my order. When I arrived at restaurant they charged me for my order and then they gave the ticket to the kitchen so they can start making it. I asked why my order wasn’t ready and she stated that it needs to be paid first before they start make it. I asked her, then what’s the point of calling it ahead then and she said that the rule they have. Very inconvenient for mediocre food. Beans were cold and seemed old. Never going back.

7/10 The service could’ve been better the young lady was very distracted. Tacos weren’t that bad I liked the tacos of bistec more than the others. Tacos d trompo 8.5/10 tacos d molleja 7/10 ……

Tacos were excellent, and the salsa was great, too. Highly recommend
