We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to find a table for us. The extensive tea menu was impressive. As I can't have caffeine, I was pleased to see they had several decaffeinated options available. I ordered a salad and quiche. The salad was delicious with a vinaigrette dressing, fresh fruit, and dried cranberries. The quiche, a spinach and sun-dried tomato dish, exceeded my expectations with its flavor. I especially enjoyed the tea service, which included a teapot warmed by a tea light. Although I'm not usually a fan of carrot cake, I decided to order it and was pleasantly surprised to find it was the best I've ever had. I also tried their caramel au lait tea, which I loved. I purchased some loose leaf tea to take home. The waitress was friendly and provided excellent service. I definitely plan on returning and look forward to bringing my daughter for her birthday. This place is a gem in Brooksville, and I highly recommend it!
My friend and I visited this restaurant yesterday and tried the high tea for two. It was one of the best tea experiences I've ever had. I have visited tea rooms in New Jersey, Manhattan, and Connecticut, but Teestuben was a true joy. The food and service were excellent. The pumpkin soup was outstanding, and I was impressed by the individual teapot warmers with tea lights to keep the tea hot throughout our visit. This was a first for me and I found it brilliant. I definitely plan on returning soon to this beautiful restaurant with cozy Victorian/shabby chic decor. There is even a stunning oak tree in the middle of the parking lot. I highly recommend a visit here for anyone with a big appetite - you will not be disappointed!
