Willie's Steakhouse - BRONX

Parkchester was a major meeting point back in the day.

First time here, looks grand outside but once you pass the doors, it got so much history that locals appreciate.

Sad seeing a place turn from good food to bad or cooked without careI am an occasional customer thereI always order specific dishes from the menu.

This place is an old school Puerto Rican restaurant/club in the Westchester Bronx area. As soon as I entered live band playing old time Latin music bought back memories of the songs my mom and dad would listen to. The crowd was amazing like a family environment everyone knew everyone hugs kisses familia vibes. Smiles from everyone made me feel at home -conversation going on all around-dancing all around. I ordered an appetizer (mind you I had already eaten in New Jersey plátano relleno with beef and one of my old time favorite alcapurias with ground beef inside. I even danced a little felt sooo good . Will be go back soon for dinner and more dancing for sure

We've been coming here for years, I actually met my husband there. The food is great, steak was very tender and the chops as well. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming, service is always good. The ambiance was great, they had a DJ which played old school salsa. Since it was Valentine's day we enjoyed ourselves. We will always returned to Willie's.
