Pugsley Pizza - BRONX

The food at Pugsleys is incredibly authentic, and I always go for the pepperoni and mushroom combo pizza—it’s my favorite. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to try different pizza places, but I always end up comparing them to Pugsleys! Rating: Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5.

I happened to discover this restaurant by chance. My friend and I were craving pizza, and he found this place on his phone. I'd heard about it before but never had the chance to visit. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we got completely lost and confused, seeing only a gas station and a few other businesses. Just then, we noticed a group of college students walking through a nearby alley, and we thought to ourselves that they must be headed to this restaurant, so we decided to follow them. Sure enough, they led us to a fantastic spot filled with college students eagerly waiting in line for a slice or two. Following them turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the pizza was absolutely incredible—one of the best I've ever had, easily landing in my top three, if not at the very top. The consistency, flavor, and balance of ingredients were all exceptional. I definitely want to go back!
