Im a black man walking into a Dominican restaurant with my puerto rican friend and we both feel we are in the wrong place just of how the act towards us in how they treat us I do not like it he do not like it me being a chef for 35 years I never sperings that in my life It's very young comfortable and it's not professional If you do not want the black people eating at your restaurant put a sign on the door so therefore we will not enter But as a black man I do not feel comfortable in that Restaurant

5/2021Sadly this was a 4 star to 2 start change another post covid disappointment. I have been away for a few months. I ordered a chicken salad, chips, and floutas. The chicken used to be warm and seasoned to perfection. Not it's thin, cold, hard, and over cooked. Floutas used to be like 6.00 and now it's like 10 without that same sauce. The chips are off as well. I wish that old owners came back2 years prior:Great authentic food. Very Welcoming to people that do not speak Spanish. The service is usually good given the type of casual atmosphere. My only complaint is I am not sure how to get them to deliver as there is no webpage, and in the summer there is a big AC that remains on Fan but no cooling. Lots of gf options.

Date: May 2021 Unfortunately, my recent experience here has dropped from a four-star rating to a two-star rating—a disappointing change post-COVID. After being away for a few months, I decided to order the chicken salad, chips, and flautas. The chicken, which used to be warm and perfectly seasoned, was now thin, cold, tough, and overcooked. The flautas, which were once around $6, have increased to $10 and no longer come with the same delicious sauce. The chips were also not up to par. I really wish the previous owners would come back. Looking back two years ago, the food was authentically great, and the staff was very welcoming, even to those who don't speak Spanish. The service was typically good for a casual atmosphere. My only complaint back then was that I couldn't figure out how to place a delivery order since there was no website, and during the summer, the large air conditioning unit just ran on fan mode without providing any cooling. However, there were plenty of gluten-free options available then.

Fantastic food! Everything is always wonderfully fresh and delicious! The place is also very clean!
